Roberts Scholarships and Fellowships

In honour of her siblings and the role the University of Toronto played in her own life, Jessie Selina Roberts Current (’25) left a gift in her will to support future generations of exceptional University of Toronto students. The Roberts Scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate science students in financial need and the Roberts Fellowship is awarded to graduate students in chemistry. The boundless legacy is a tribute to her brother Dr. James G. Roberts (’15) and sister Ina Louise Roberts (’19).

Where possible the Roberts Scholarships, each in the amount of $5,000 per year, are awarded to students studying science at Victoria College at the University of Toronto and who hail from Peel County.
